For those who like to read good literature I am going to list a few of my all time favorites. I can almost assure you that you will greatly enjoy each. In no particular order.

1. Lost in the Cosmos, the last selp help book ----- Walker Percy
2. Down the River with Henry David Thoreau --------- Edward Abbey
3. Siddartha --------------------------------------- Herman Hesse
4. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance ------- Robert Pirsig
5. The Boat that Wouldn't Float -------------------- Farley Mowat
6. Atlas Shrugged ---------------------------------- Ayn Rand
7. Sexus, Plexus and Nexus (Trilogy) --------------- Henry Miller
8. JOB: A Comedy of Justice ------------------------ Robert Heinlein
9. Wild Animals I have Known (a collection of short stories that if you like animals you will enjoy, a great book for your kids as well) -------- Ernest Thompson Seton
10. Pilgrim at Tinker Creek ----------------------- Annie Dillard

Of those I've only read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance but I can heartily recommend it too.

For those of you that love fantasy fiction like the Lord of the Rings, Try the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I've actually only read the first book but that's because it was about 800 pages but it was damn good. I think there are 9 books in the series so you could be busy for quite a while with these if you like them.
