Hand convertor

Postby iceman5 » Fri Nov 04, 2005 6:51 pm

Can someone tell me how to use the hand convertor? I used to use it with no problem, but I havent been able to get it to work for months. Is there some part of the HH that Im not suppossed to cut and paste or is it the entire thing including all words at top and bottom of the HH?

Depends which site's HH, and which converter you're using. I use since it fixed an AbsolutePoker error.

With PP hands, you have to remove the word Texas from the top of the hand history for it to work correctly. With Absolute, you have to re-order the seat positions so they're in numerical order.

I'm not sure about any other sites.

Supported sites:

Absolute Poker
Empire Poker
Paradise Poker
Party Poker
PokerRoom
PokerStars
Ultimate Bet

Not sure what is wrong with Stars. Let me pay with it.

FWIW, here is another option that seems to be popular:

Here is a Stars hand from Pokerhand.org:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (8 handed)

Button ($492.35)
SB ($976.75)
BB ($990)
Hero ($760.40)
UTG+1 ($947.50)
MP1 ($1151.50)
MP2 ($1148)
CO ($1251.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7s, 8s.
Hero calls $10, [color:#666666]3 folds, CO calls $10, [color:#666666]1 fold, SB completes, [color:#CC3333]BB raises to $50, Hero calls $40, CO folds, SB calls $40.

Flop: ($160) 5h, 7d, 7h [color:#0000FF](3 players)
SB checks, [color:#CC3333]BB bets $110, Hero calls $110, SB folds.

Turn: ($380) Th [color:#0000FF](2 players)
BB checks, [color:#CC3333]Hero bets $220, [color:#CC3333]BB raises to $830, Hero calls $380.40 (All-In).

River: ($1810.40) Ah [color:#0000FF](2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $1810.40

Pretty nasty... this is Forum code with results for PHPbb. Almost OK, except the colors are not formatted correctly.

This is from the Bison's Converter that EP9 gave:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (7 handed)

CO (t1330)
Button (t1090)
Hero (t3095)
BB (t1170)
UTG (t2525)
MP1 (t3210)
MP2 (t1080)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Ad], [9d].
3 folds, CO raises to t90, 1 fold, Hero calls t75, 1 fold.

Flop: (t210) [4s], [9h], [3s] (2 players)
Hero bets t200, CO raises to t1240, Hero calls t1040.

Turn: (t2690) [8h] (2 players)

River: (t2690) [Js] (2 players)

Final Pot: t2690

Results in white below:
CO has Jc 9c (two pair, jacks and nines).
Hero has Ad 9d (one pair, nines).
Outcome: CO wins t2690.

Note that this hand was from an e-mailed hand history. Also note that you have to format it for "Bet The Pot" rather than 2+2.
