NL Games in Vegas

Postby briachek » Sun Jan 23, 2005 8:27 pm

I'm going to Vegas on Weds for about 4 days and staying at The Orleans. I've done this the past 3 years but I've been a limit hold em player. Now, I've been playing NL and looking for where the best games are. Anyone that has experience in Vegas, please let me know where there are good games.

Looking for the main strip casinos too or by the Rio since the Orleans has shuttles that go to the Gold Coast and Barbary Coast, so its easy access rather than Fremont street. I'm looking for 100-300 max buy in games with 1/2 blinds (or less if they have them) preferably. I hear they have games like this at the excalibur but if anyone can give me suggestions, it would be appreciated.

Slight thread hijack of my own thread.....if anyone else will be in vegas during this time, feel free to let me know if you would be interested in getting together too.

The Palms Casino spreads a $300 buy-in NL game, but I think the blinds are 2/4.
It is right next door to the Orleans.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
