Ok, I just saw this post as I haven't been around much recently. I had a great time at the Aladdin watching TUP. We had some lunch, talked over some general stuff and then I got to see him in action as he went heads up and 3 way in a 2-5 blind, 300 buy in game until a NL tourney ended and the game started to grow. I sat there as his "consultant" as I watched him play pretty much every hand and be the life of the table, joking with players, dealers and such. Whenever someone joined, he asked their names and introduced everyone.
Over about 3 hours while i was waiting for a lower NL game, I saw him showdown many hands and only lost a few times. He got people to do what he wanted and pushed them out every time he could. He got one kid, who was dealt his very first hand at the table, to put in his 100 buy in with 99 while TUP had TT. The board didn't help the 9's, but some calling station tagged along preflop with KQ and hit his K on the flop. Oh well.
As soon as the table was filling and his style defined by the other players, he shifted gears and was almost a rock. But no one noticed, except me of course

. It was uneventful for TUP for a while (as it normally is for rocks) until I got called to my table. About an hour later, I hear of some guy that won a $700 with 56s. All the dealer could say was "Only he could do that."
Off to a cheeseburger and more poker talk and advice on hands before we part company, TUP a $950 winning and me right behind with $50 profit. so close. One day.
Great time. Anyone that goes to Vegas, try to meet with him. He's a great guy. You'll learn a lot and have a blast.
