If you're going to bet the turn then I think you're better off bet/fold on the river then check call, I'm assuming small blind folded and then it was to you, if so I probably call and hope he turns something like JQ over.

I agree with Golden. The river check says, "I just missed my draw. Bet me now." You can damn well guarantee that the river didn't help him (unless he's playing J4s like another poster's jackass opponent). You have to call.

You're behind: AA, AK, K-x, AQ, Q9, JT, J4, J3, T4, T3, (edit) 44, 33, and 43.

You're ahead of everything else. Bet the river, and I think I'd even CALL a raise.

wait so lets say hero bets the river, and then MP2 raises, Tiburon you're saying you would think about calling that?

i don't quite follow...although im sure there's a kickass explaination to that.

What did the small blind do after MP2's river bet? I think that's an important piece of info that we don't have yet. If he called, I'm putting him on Kx trying to see the showodown. If he folded to the river bet, then I'm thinking why would the hero bet like he has to this point and then check the river unless he had the intention of check raising.
