I need to vent again (sorry)

Man the last couple weeks have been awfull. Every table I sit at I know exactly who the idiots are and who I want to make my hands against but either sit for hours and not make anything or get my big pocket pairs cracked. I have now gone 31 hours of live poker without flopping a set, I havent flopped a straight in longer than that. In my last 4 sessions I have had KK and run into AA 3 times. KK vs AA is supposed to happen about one every 5000+ hands.

Yesterday I played with one of the worst calling around, I have played with this guy before. I have been patient and have been waiting for a big hand knowing he will call almost any preflop raise. I get QQ the guy to my right has been looking at his cards in a way that I can see, which is always nice. So as he looks at his cards I see AK he raises to $15, I'm really happy with this, I reraise to $50, my calling station buddy calls. Flop is J42, I am going to bet it but my buddy starts playing with his chips so, I figure this is a great spot to check raise. He bets $20, the original raiser calls with AK I make it $120 calling station thinks about it and goes all in for another $20 I call he is playing KJ, hits his K on the turn. Rakes his pot and leaves. I play a couple more hands, I get KK in the BB and it folds all the way around. The SB asks me if I want to chop, I say WTF and chop it. With my luck i raise he calls with A3 and busts me.

So I decide to play at a different casino. I played for 5 hours and won one hand. I got must have had 15 pocket pairs without flopping a set. I did get KK twice and ran into AA both freakin times in less than an hour.

So I now have had KK 3 times in about 9 hours of play and chopped once and lost to AA twice, great fukn day. Do the poker gods just enjoy making me want to pull out my hair or what. Some day it would be nice to go back to actually winning occasionally, this is so damn frustrating.

On a side note sorry Tetsuo but the BTP hat is getting retired after this bad run.

subman,

Thanks... I recalled it was either 2.1 or 4.3 - I couldn't recall which tho and didn't have the time to do the math. Since 2.1 worked out to about 50:1 I figured Rhound just made a decimal error and 2.1 was probably the right answer.
