If it's a passive table and I'm in LP and there are say 3-4 or more limpers, I will limp with Axs and play pot odds from there if there's action to me, or maybe semibluff if it's checked to me and I have a flush draw to win it, narrow the field to headsup for another bet on the turn, or to encourage action if I hit.
If there are no limpers or one limper to me in LP I may raise to win the pot right there or get headsup and bet the flop regardless of what comes.
I don't call raises with them ever, really. Unless someone behind me min-raises and most limpers trail in as well.
Hitting the A and continuing on that basis is the road to ruin. I just ignore the A and am really really cautious, even if I make 2 pair on the turn. An innocuous card making you 2 pair could also have made a lurker a set.
If I catch Axs in the blinds in an unraised pot, I'll limp and then immediately semibluff a draw with a blocking bet of around half the pot. You only need two caller to make your 4:1 odds correct.
Ax unsuited I tend to avoid x < T, only really play in LP and I'd rather raise with it than limp and play mega cautious if there is any action to me whatsoever.
I would appreciate feedback on my play here from others, as I'm really just opening up Axs consistently because Prima is so passive which makes drawing and bluffing that much more viable.
Seems to work so far! Try Prima!
