Should I try to check raise at some point? (.50/1 FR)

No real reads (still working on the limit reads)

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Js], [Jc].
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) [4c], [3s], [9s] (4 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) [8s] (4 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, Button folds.

River: (8.25 BB) [2s] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 10.25 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Js Jc (flush, jack high).
MP1 has 4h Ks (flush, king high).
Outcome: MP1 wins 10.25 BB.

I'm guessing that I should have checked on the river (again).

My question is more about trying to get off a check raise on the flop or turn?
Considering I am ahead until I am behind, is that going to win me the pot or just let everyone check behind? I cant see MP1 betting bottom pair all that often.

Depends on the players I guess. Usually, no one will have caught a piece of a flop/turn like that, so if you think one of them is aggressive enough to likely to bet the scare-3flush on the turn, then maybe... but I think you're better off just betting out most of the time.

Checking the flop can be a disaster - they're often going to just check behind with overcards. JJ is too vulnerable to allow that to happen. I'd just bet out and hope someone tries a fancyplay free card move which allows me to 3-bet.
