I hear you.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Qd], [Qh]. CO posts a blind of $3.
3 folds, MP1 raises, 5 folds, Hero 3-bets, MP1 calls.

Flop: (7.33 SB) [6s], [4c], [2h] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Turn: (4.66 BB) [Kh] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls.

River: (6.66 BB) [Td] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 8.66 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Qd Qh (one pair, queens).
MP1 has Qs Ks (one pair, kings).
Outcome: MP1 wins 8.66 BB.

This kind of crap just happens. I could show you a million of these from my downswing(s). The fact that you don't tilt is great. I am subject to tilt when the beats get horrendous. That's when I go from being Tight-Uber-Aggressive Table Killer to Idiotic Chip Spewing Donkey.

If that doesn't happen to you, you're ahead of me...

Like I said, as you keep making +EV decisions (remembering that LHE is a game of decisions and winning and losing BETS), the plus side of that ledger will grow. It's only a matter of time.

Good luck!

Yeah, the swings are insane in limit. I probably ran a 150 bb downswing at 5/10, and these past two days I just had a 100 bb upswing single tabling with about 6-7 hours of play. It is insane, just exercise good table selection and proper plays and the rest will come.

I don't like the A4 call, you should either 3 bet it or fold this, assuming small blind is 1/2 of big blind. Lean towards fold if he doesn't have much aggression/button stealing, reraising if he's more of a stealer.

Oh OK, yeah that sucks then. I ran a +100 bb streak the past two days single tabling but have since given 40bb back, limit is a cruel swinging game it is.
