Guess the hand for a free $5 #2

Postby kennyg » Tue Feb 15, 2005 3:31 pm

Ok...I've changed my mind..this time you can repeat answers other people have said. I guess I'll just split it up if that's the case. You have to guess both hands correctly. This contest ends at 2am Thursday. Good luck! (i think norton will win again somehow lol) I'll transfer the money through pokerstars.
Iceman you can't anwser since you were at teh table during this hand.

1/2 Prima poker NL

I have about $180
Opponent (pretty good player) has me covered.

I' limp in MP. Couple of limpers. Opponents limps on the button.

FLOP $10
[3c][3h][9h]

checked around the table to my opponent, the button, he bets $10. I call. Everyone else folds.

TURN $30
[3c][3h][9h][8s]

I check. Opponent bets $10. I raise to $50. Opponent calls.

RIVER
[3c][3h][9h][8s][6h]

I move-all. Opponent quickly calls.

I won..what cards did we hold? :)

You held pocket nines, with an off-chance of pocket 3's. Opponent had some sort of flush.

I too thought pocket 3's vs 9's after a bit of thinking. But since that's taken, I have to go for 9's in your pocket and a 93 in his. Although I think you maybe would raise with 9's checked to in MP?

Well, just to be different, and assuming complete irrationality on your opponent's part, Kenny: 33, opponent: 66.

(I could also see Kenny: 33, opponent: AA, but that's not my official answer).

I think Kenny had 2/7 off and his opponant hand pocket 3's and you thought you could buy it :D. Ok seriously you had 33 and your opponant had 8;s or 9's.

Button had A3, Kenny had 88. Hope that one is different...and right.

I really don't think his opponent was on a boat. He would have more than likely reraised all in on the turn. Though something like A3 is possible.

I think you were putting a move on your opponent here with 66 and filled up on the river. Your turn bet looks like one that doesnt want to get called. I think your opponent hung in and hit his flush draw on the river with Ax of hearts.

Wow, do I really get a share of the cash even if I guess what other people guessed?

I'm guessing it's just like the last hand.

Kenny - 33
Opponent - 99
