WHat does everyone think of this "move"

1/2 Prima $200 max

we were all about even at $200
BB is fairly tight...UTG is loose calling station.

dealt [Kc][7c]. Couple people call. MP min. raises.. I call on the button because of the pot's potential.

FLOP $24
[Tc][7h][2d]

Everyone checks.

TURN $24
[Tc][7s][2s][5c]
BB leads for $12. UTG calls. Everyone else including preflop raiser folds to me. I raise to $36.

I thought this was a good play? I've been reading super system 2 and have been getting more aggressive....

I've got lots of outs..i'm building the pot, and I may even win it right here. The [5c] isn't a great bluff card but I'm basically representing trips.

I ended up losing the hand. Both players called and the loose station hit his spade flush which was what i put him on.. He moved in on the river and I obviously folded. The BB called though which surprised me...he must have had some deceptively good hand like a set because like i said, he's pretty tight. Which means if I hit my club flush I would have taken his stack.

so what do you guys think about it?

I do like this play for a couple of reasons, first if you have a tight table image you may get someone to fold the best hand. Someone who knows you are tight and agressive may fold top pair here. What you really want is the idiot heads up. You have a pretty good feeling he is on a flush draw if he misses you win, when someone else may have won if you just called. Also with this board as it is with 2 flush draws on board it gives you a better idea if your two pair of trips is good if you hit it on the river. If someone does have a set this is a relatively cheap way to sniff that out. If some has been slow playing a set and you raise you are going to get reraised big.

I do not like your play, sorry....

Even with a tight tables image and some limpers I would never ever call a min raise with K7s in NL. In Limit on the other hand this might be okay some time.

On the flop everybody checks and it is up to you. Why did you not bet? You have second pair with good kicker. Even if you are called you have a runner-runner nearly Nut Flush, three 7s and three Ks as outs.

Your turn raise was aggressive, but... You can ask yourself why the BB, who had the worst position, lead out with a bet on nearly a blank card. I think he intended a check-raise on the flop but unfortunately for him nobody bet. Therefore, he bet on the turn and your second pair and 1:5 Flush draw is never ever enough to call/raise. Count your number of outs if one of them has a good hand...

Anyway, I think that you are a good player :D
Just my thoughts about the hand.
