Big hand against my fav maniac

Postby iceman5 » Fri Feb 18, 2005 10:27 am

If anyone read my AA hand from last night (I wish I was a fish)
forum/viewtopic.php?t=1600
, then you'll remember the maniac who had QQ. He is my opponent in this hand

$2/$4 NL

Maniac limps, I limp with [Kc][Tc]. One more limper plus both blinds are in
The pot is $20. The flop comes [Qc][Jd][4c]. I have a superdraw.

Blinds check and the maniac bets $16. I raise to $48 and only he calls.

The pot is $116. The turn is the [8c]. He now leads into me for $40. I raise to $130 and he goes all in. And I do what?

(We both started the hand with about $400)

Against a normal opponent I think you might fold, but based on what you've seen of this guy I'm pretty sure you called. With one of two outcomes: 1) he further proves his idiocy by having something like 9T or AQ not suited or 2) the blind squirrel found the nuts and he has Axs.

I'd lean more toward #1 as I think he might re-raise with the nut flush draw on the flop.

i call. No questions asked. 2nd nut flush. If he has the nuts, well I'll be satisfied with that especially the way he over plays hands. he might have AQ with the Ac, if so he is still drawing.
