RESULTS:
I had AA. I think this one was pretty obvious. Just based on my flop and turn play I have either AA, JJ, or 55, but I don't reraise 55 preflop. And I hate re-raising JJ preflop even more. So...yes I had AA and a lot of you nailed that one.
Opponent's hand should be easy to narrow down. We know he has an ace. How? Because he looks at one card and raises on the flop. I said he was a good postflop player which should tell you he wouldn't raise if he hit bottom pair. So we know he's got an ace. Now when he looks at his second card and moves in you know it's a good card. At this point you can narrow down his hand to A-broadway or A-5. Well, I don't think he'd make such a big raise with A5 so that should be out. A-broadway is possible but really, only AK and AJ make sense. In this particular hand he had AK, although AJ would have made just as much sense. I'm not sure if I understand his allin but I guess that's a strong hand in that spot and I wouldn't be able to put him on AK so he thought I might call with something like KK or QQ. Only way his allin makes sense.
So many of you were close. I'm actually shocked nobody got it. Oh well. I really wanted to give some money away. I'll do another one later this week.
