$15 Turbo over at Stars. I've been running really bad lately, so I need some help. I'll probably post a few more SNG histories later today.

Blinds 10/20

K2o: Fold
65o: Fold
AJo in BB: 3 limpers, I just check for some reason. Flop comes K, K, T. I bet 2/3 pot, fold to Raise
K5o in SB: Fold
K7o: Fold
94o: Fold

Blinds 15/30

K9s in MP: I call, someone raises, then another reraises all-in so I obviously fold.
A8o in EP: Fold.
QJs UTG: Raise 3X BB. Only BB calls. Flop T, 9, 5 for an OESD for me. I bet just over half pot and get called. Turn another 9. I bet half pot again and he folds.
Up to 1585 chips
Q9o in BB: Fold to a all-in
J8s in SB: 3 limpers and I call as does BB. 5 to the flop. Flop is 9, Q, A rainbow. Checked all around. Turn is 8. Checked all around. River is 4. Checked all around. BB with 95o takes it with a pair of 9's.

Blinds 25/50 (I have 1525)
96s: Fold
72o: Fold
65o: Fold
75o: Fold
T2o: Fold

Blinds 50/100 ( I have 1525)
85o in BB: Fold to 3X BB raise
99 in SB: A short stack who has 970 in EP goes all-in. I call. he shows A2o and I win
Up to 2495, 3rd in chips.
J5s: Fold
82o: Fold
J2o: Fold
34s: Fold
AKo in BB: Folded to button (Short Stack with 1155 in chips) who raises 4X BB. I re-raise all-in. He calls 755 more and shows KQo. Sweet, I have him dominated. Doh, Q on Flop. I don't improve. I never win these hands.
Down to 1340 in chips
43o in SB: Fold
T2o: Fold

Blinds 75/150 ( Ihave 1290)
K4o: Fold
AJo in EP: I rasie 4x and steal blinds
T2o: Fold
99 in BB: I limper. I raise all-in and all folds
QQ in SB: Folded to me and I Raise 3X BB. BB Folds. Shoot.
Up to 1890 in chips. 6 people left
K7o on button: All fold to me. I fold too. i think I shoulda stole the blind again, though that woulda been 3 hands in a row for me.
K2o: Fold
K8o: Fold
ATo UTG: I just Fold. I'm not sure why I did that. Turns out EP raised 4X and MP called. Flop was8, K, 6 rainbow. EP checked, and MP took it down with a continuation bet.

Blinds 100/200, 6 still left. I have 1890 in chips.

83o in BB: Fold to all-in
Q8s in SB: Folded to me and I raise 3X BB and steal. BB points out that is three times in a row I've stolen his BB. Oh well. I told him I had AQ.
97 UTG: Fold
93o: Fold
J5s: Fold (Folded to BB, maybe I shoulda stole)
Q6o: Fold
Someone gets knocked out so BB skips me
76o in SB: Fold to 3X bet from button
54s: Fold
Q7o: Fold
Another get knocked out. 4 left. I have 1790 as the shortstack (1st = 6800, 2nd = 2600, 3rd = 2300)
J6o: Fold

Blinds 100/200 with 25 ante

I get 77 in the BB. SB raises 3X BB (he is 3rd in chips), and I go all in. 77 is a good hand, especally if I think he is just trying to steal. He calls with TT. ARGGG I go home now.

Did I just get unlucky? Crappy cards throughout? I sure got T2o a lot. And lots of King-Rag hands. Pairs were 99 twice (won with one, stole with other) QQ once (Stole blinds), and the 77 hand. I got AK once, and lost to KQ.

This thread is excellent, I appreciate you guys explaining the reasoning of why you play in such way and not just saying what you would play.

Someone refered to Harrignton starting hands, do you feel they are applicable to s&g ? I play a bit looser that but my roi is not where I would like it to be so perhaps I should tightne up a bit there.

HoH's starting hands are very much applicable for early game scenarios. Raising UTG with QJ is incredibly -EV. I'm not saying stick with it 100%, but it should be able to give you an idea of what hands are profitable from what positions.
