anyone won 7 in a row?

Postby tommyhawk » Thu Aug 04, 2005 4:39 am

I still have some money left on Noble and will give the Million a try.

You will have to win 7 in a row to get your million . The costs are one dollar extra $10+2.

I don't think I ever had 7 in a row top 2 finishes but it would be a hellova first time.

So what is your best streak.?

I have hit a 4 in a row (1st or 2nd) twice. I had a seven straight money finish and a six straight money finish this year (1st, 1st, 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd and 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st, 3rd, 3rd). I also hit a 16 straight OTM in July on Party. That was VERY rough.

I had a long discussion on another board once about the Noble Million Challenge. I just don't see myself and my current game ever hitting 7 in a row...although I am a very streaky player.

do you only have to get 1st OR 2nd place for the Noble thing, or is it just 1st?? I would have to think it would just be 1st...

My best 1st streak ever was 3, my best 1st or 2nd was 8... it was almost all 2nds though, I actually ended that streak very frustrated.

It's just 1st. 7 in a row would be truly amazing.

I had 9 in a row (1rst or 2nd) back in May, within that I had 4 1rst place finishes in a row, it felt great. But I've more than made up for it this past month with a long non-1rst streak. In the end I suppose it all evens out.

Best streak I had was 13 straight in the money's on the Party $10 SnG's, though I think about seven or eight were 3rd places.

Regarding the Noble offer, I know they've been bought by Empire and all but unless in the whole time they've run nobody has won 7 in a row or extremely few occurences, is this offer a money maker? Or is it only running for a limited time so that it attract people to deposit and start playing at the site?

I don't know how busy Noble is nowadays but if it was relatively quiet, a VERY well organised team of many players could try and engineer the win, obviously a lot of accounts and different locations would be needed. And it would be difficult to chip dump to the the same player all the time.

I think it is very very hard for a well organised team to collude here. And if you did you need to split with many players which cant be very profitable. They will check all the games you played 20 times.

6 in a row is still 75K and 5 is 25K. Also will they pat $250 if you get first or second in 5 consecutive stngs.
Not all that bad I guess.
