agreed. you may know you are ahead but you are possibily going up against as much as 4 overcards or even a better pair. Let them knock each other out and then you take 2nd and work for first.

Thanks for all the replys guys. I knew I wouldnt be a favorite going in but did it anyway (UGH) guess i was taking the play for first idea to the extreme.

Second is still better than third.

A 2:1 chip disadvantage heads up shouldn't be all that distressing, LD. Heads up usually involves monster chip swings. I've come back from the absolute dead to win, and I've had a 11K to 1k chip advantage on PS and lost. (That was awhile ago. I'm better now.) No big deal. The best player usually wins. Usually. :)
