10 consecutive ITMs

Postby GodlikeRoy » Fri Oct 21, 2005 9:45 pm

This post serves no purpose other than to brag and to flaunt my perfect card reading and memory skills.

Well I just finished my 10th SnG over about 3-4 weeks and got 3rd which gave me my 10th ITM in a row and you won't believe the hand I went out on.

I have KQ in the BB and the SB completes. I raise to 3xBB and he calls. The flop comes Q62 and he checks, so I bet 3/4 the pot. He moves all in. Easy call right? Well that's what I thought, so I call and he turns over Q9. I'm laughing my way to 1st place with dreams of finishing my run of 10 placings on a high. The turn and river bring blanks and i'm feeling mighty fine.. and then.. what the.. the chips are moving towards him?!?! How is this possible..

So it turns out I realy had KJ and not KQ, leaving me with king high. If that isn't a sign of too much poker then I don't know what is.

I still can't believe it lol but i'm not too upset since I still got ITM. Ah well, a note to anyone thinking of playing SnGs.. make sure you know what your hole cards are!! Haha :P

Back to the HU matches for me I think.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
