Hi all,
Playing a $22 10 seater SnG at Party. This situation came up and I was wondering what the SnG players on here would have done.
The table is 4 handed. I have 9000 chips, the player to my left has 6000, next has 3000 and the other guy has just under 2000. Blinds are 200/400.
I'm on the BB and am dealt Th 6h. It's folded to the SB (the shortest stack) who minimum raises to 800. This doesn't mean a monster from him - could be many hands, my guess was two paint cards, maybe AJ or something.
So the situation is: the pot is 1200 and I have to call 400 to see the flop. The SB has around 1200 left and I feel that if I moved all-in he would call, so there isn't really any point in me pushing in. Would you call with my hand, hoping to hit a piece of the flop and then get your money in (be it a pair or a draw). Or would you fold, even with the great pot odds, and wait for a better time to put him all in?
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this situation.
Thanks,
Martin
