Good Question, unfortunately, for me I tend to play a tighter game so I will generally not race unless:

1. I am the chip leader and calling another players all in will not risk more than 25% of my stack.

2. There are several players left and my chip stack is less than 10 times BB or BB will be doubling in a few mintutes. In that case I want to double up to increase my chances of getting ITM. (Example blinds 75/150 and I have 1000 chips with seven players remaining.

3. I am reasonably confident I will be heads up with the raiser I I call the all in or move all in with my hand. I am NOT happy to be all in with multiple opponents in a coin flip situation.

4. It all depends. As with most things in poker. Which place am I in? What place will I be in if I call or go all in and win/loose? Am I sure of my read on my opponent? Will my opponent lay down to a reasonable raise? What's my table image, etc.

Not at all weak/tight. Racing presumes I am short-stacked and need to do something soon, and this is the best hand I probably will see before I get really desperate. I feel I have an edge over most players after the flop. Small advantages give that edge away. I will be more accepting of a race if I'm short-stacked and OOP. Then, racing takes away his positional advantage.

How you see these things, to me, is the difference between a game of skill and gambling.

I got my hair highlighted, because I felt some strands were more important that others.
