Hey all

I have been away from the site for awhile, had to withdraw my online poker bankroll for real life reasons. Needless to say I am back and playing again. I have played mostly no limit cash games up to about the $25 buyin level. I came back with a small bankroll and fired up some games. I just didnt have the same passion for them that I had before. So I mucked around for awhile but was bored most of the time. So for the first time I tried a sit and go and I LOVED IT. Much more enjoyable for me then the cash games. Anyways have some basic questions.

Cant seem to the Calculation for ROI.

Anybody have a decent spreadsheet for tracking everything? I have made a basic one for myself but is nothing special.

I do have poker tracker. Is it really that useful for sit n gos?

And help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. What should my goals be as far as stats?

(1) ROI = (winnings-(buyins+fees))/(buyins+fees)

(2) Your basic spreadsheet should be fine. I have a spreadsheet, but it is gloriously simple.

(3) Pokertracker is not that useful unless you're playing at a very small poker site, or if you are playing at a high enough stakes that there are fairly few players. Taking notes is more effective anyway for SNGs, just too much that PT doesn't capture.

(4) The best results that have ever been proven to me are around 45% at the $10s at Party. That is good stuff. You really have to set your own goals, but if you want to be one of the very best players out there, aim for 35%+
