I also like a min re-raise here.

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Min re-raising gives away our hand's strength more than calling. I would have called here and hoped he caught a little something or threw out a continuation bet on flop.

I like a call in this situation. Let him catch a K with his K 10 or such and then check raise all in if he CB's. If he whiffed, you arent getting any more out of him anyway and if he happens to flop two pair or something huge, you are probably destined to go broke in this spot.

I see where you are coming from EP, but the re-minraise does have merit. Here you sit with a huge hand against what is most likely a weak ass steal attempt. Any big raise blows him out of the water and what you really want to do is extract as much as possible out of him with this hand. It's transparent as all hell but so what? If you just flat call he's most likely going to freeze up and not put in another chip. But minraising him back gives what, 5-1 on a call? He's going to feel obligated to call at the very least. I like it.

Shove.

Boooom.

If he folds...whatever...

But if you just call...you let him hit a flop....I don't like that....
