Actually, I will state my ROI: 55% holding pretty steady, we'll see how much it dips (if at all) ITM%: 45% also holding pretty good. Sometimes I play 2-tables, sometimes 4.

Hey! Somebody else who plays these (successfully, it seems :)). I found these on Empire a while ago, and quickly dropped 3 buy-ins (with 7th, 7th, and 8th place finishes) before I realized that my regular ring game strategy might not work as well in a limit SnG.

So, any tips for beating these, as all the SnG strategy guides seem to be geared toward NL? I'd like to give them another crack, but I need to figure out what I'm doing first.

I've just started playing these with some success. Usually 10$, 20$, or 30$.

I do play my tight regular ring game strategy till it gets to 5 players, then I loosen up.

Down to 4, loosen up and get very aggressive.

3 players I become a freakin maniac.

Im really starting to like these things.

42 sngs

ROI---66.5%
ITM%--40.5%
I do not think, therefore I am not.

Well, I've only played 60 of the limit SnG's on Party so far, but I played a lot of $10 head's up limit on Doylesroom and started just crushing people. I'd say if you want to play the limit STT's then play some HU limit STT's first. Once you have a solid HU game you can dominate at these b/c when it gets short-handed the pots are almost always head's up.

As far as advice for these though, play tight early on, don't even get involved unless you have a big hand or you can limp in with something decent for your position. Early on, pots are going to be 5-handed or more, so you have to hit really well to take down a pot. If it's still 10-handed, 5 people see the flop, and the board comes bad, don't be afraid to let go of your pocket aces if the action gets heavy, I've saved god knows how many tournament chips this way.

I start opening up when the game gets 7-handed, but only when the mass-limping stops. Once it gets 6-handed, just use position whenever possible, if it's 5 handed and you have the chip lead, raise with damn near anything in the cutoff or the button when it's folded to you (if there's a limper you can still raise a lot, but not as much.) When people are on the bubble and you have most of the chips, nobody wants to go broke on a marginal hand, and they'll tell you when they have a big hand, that's how you get your firsts (the most important thing.)
