Was this on Party Poker by any chance ??

I just started playing on PP and am shocked at some of the hands people are playing even at $30 buy-in. It's hard enough starting with 800 chips, but when you finally get a premium starting hand and they call with any 2 suited cards and hit 2 pair with 4-7, it's disgusting. The trash talk that follows just makes me want to throw the computer out of the window.

I feel your pain. :x

Bodog, when I played there a couple or three months back, seems to be particularly bad for the trash talk. One of the reasons I stopped playing there.

Just had a guy in a $10 UB tourney. I had TT in the small blind, low cards on the flop and turn, kept betting it, the guy kept calling. Finally went all-in on the turn, he calls with 75. Nails a gutshot straight on the river, knocked me down to just 2xBB. And he starts trash-talking me, calling me a fish and taunting. A real ass.

Unfortunately, you have a bunch of low-class young drunk punks playing online, and you just have to deal with it or turn off the chat.

Started playing Bodog yesterday. I don't notice it being particulary more like this than others, certainly not in the class of Party. It's the worst, by far.

I just type in, "go ahead, do your victory dance. Everybody knows how good you are." My advice is, DO NOT JAW BACK AT THEM. I do, and it's a mistake. You lose focus, even if you don't steam.
