Who was the fish here?

Postby PeteX » Tue Apr 11, 2006 11:05 am

This was the 3rd hand on a cheap sng at Crypto.

My logic behind pushing was that there is bound to be someone with Ace-rag limping in and I don't want to see a flop with an ace on it. As the UTG did the min raise, I was thinking that he didn't have pocket aces, because he would have raised more in that case.

Was I the fish here? Or should I be happy about the call and hope that the guy calls me also next time with the same cards when I push with KK or AA?

Ok, perhaps pushing on the 3rd hand was perhaps a bit of an overkill, but hey, I'm an overkill kind of guy...;) With just the blinds at stake, I would probably have done just a 3xBB raise but with all these limpers, I didn't think that would do the trick.

Actually only a 3:1 favorite on the flop, but 4:1 when the money went in preflop. Still, this should be in Low Content.
